Book Victoria Park – park area

Victoria Park is suitable for celebrations and small community events, as well as casual gatherings.

The north end features a barbecue with covered seating and tables alongside one of the area’s most exciting playgrounds. There is also a smaller playground with a barbecue and covered seating and tables at the south end.

What you can book

You can book a grass area in the park for your exclusive use.

You can apply to bring:

up to 20 chairs and 3 tables
a marquee or arbour covering up to 40 square metres.

Booking notice period: we require at least 10 business days notice.

7 days including public holidays.

April to October: 8 am to 6 pm.

November to March: 8 am to 8:30 pm.

Fees are determined by the size, location, duration and complexity of the event.

Event permit

Most organised activities held on council land require an event permit to make sure they meet safety requirements, avoid clashes with other activities and comply with local laws and regulations. Find out more on our Planning an outdoor event on council land page.

Public facilities

Public facilities are free for all park visitors to use – they are not included as part of a booking.
